Why participate in the lab?

• The coaching lab is a  great introduction to mentor coaching.  Working with a mentor coach is a requirement of the ICF for credentialling at ACC, PCC and MCC - because the input of a mentor coach is seen as invaluable in enhancing your coaching skills.
• The coaching lab is an excellent way to develop confidence prior to coaching exams.
• Hearing the coaching conversations of three other coaches with detailed and focused feedback gives you a great learning resource.
• The structured feedback given in the Micro Coaching Lab is a great way to sharpen your coaching focus - whether you are new or highly experienced coach

How it works:

• The Micro Coaching Lab takes place via the phone and the session lasts 1 ½ hours.
• Each Micro Coaching Lab involves three participating coaches plus a mentor coach plus observers
• On the call each participant coaches for 20 minutes each and receives feedback, both in the process of coaching and at the end of the session.
• Each participant is also coached and gives feedback to their coach.
• As an observer, you may have an opportunity to take part if a participant does not arrive to the call
• If you attend the call as an observer, you will also get a recording of the lab
• The recordings will be used as a members resource for Coaches Plus

• The opportunity to hear 3 live coaching sessions and all the feedback

Introducing your mentor coach - Marion Franklin, MCC

Marion is highly experienced in supporting coaches in developing their skills through her well-established coach supervision programme and intensive masterful coaching skills course.

A Master Certified Coach (MCC) since 2006, and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) since 1998, Marion is a former faculty adjunct teacher at Coachville/The School of Coaching.   Most recently, she serves as an examiner for the Columbia University Coaching Certification program.

After over a decade as a Master Certified Coach, she is still as passionate and enthusiastic as when she started.
